Partick Brewing Company is a fantastic new West End pub which is as welcoming as it is roomy.

With live music every Friday & Saturday night, the Partick Brewing Company is an excellent choice for a night out in Glasgow's West End to see great live bands. The Daddy Naggins, a bluegrass band from Glasgow often play the venue as well as Bobby Deans Orchestra on a Saturday afternoon.

This venue really has a lovely mix of clientele of all ages and in our opinion, is a potential hot spot for Music in Glasgow's West End,

Wickerman 2014

We're proud to announce that Full Tonne Kidd will perform at this years Wickerman Festival. They are now the first band in the festivals 13 year history to perform on both the Friday and the Saturday.

Full Tonne Kidd Competition winners!!

The response to our competition in February was absolutely staggering. We couldn't have hoped for a better response. We are genuinely touched by all of the beautiful stories that we received and we are absolutely humbled by the time and effort taken by everyone who put pen to paper. 

It's not an easy thing to be honest about your feelings and it's never easy to click send once you have written them down. 

It made our job really tough as not only did we receive over 30 heartwarming and heart breaking responses, but the quality of the writing was impeccable. We were genuinely touched and our job to select just one was very difficult. In fact it was impossible. So we chose 2.

The reality is that we were sent enough material for a double album and we may source this well of emotion again in the future. The stories we chose were the ones that kept ringing in our minds, the stories that spoke to us immediately and also what we felt we could do the most justice. 

We want to thank everyone who submitted there personal tales  from the bottom of our hearts and hope that taking the time to put your emotions and thoughts onto paper brought some reward of it's own.

The winners of the Dear Full Tonne Kidd competition are Ian Witheyman & George Kidd. 

We'll be in touch in due course with an update on the progress of turning your stories into Full Tonne Kidd songs, in the mean time, have a think about where you would like us to perform for you!

FULL TONNE KIDD COMPETITION

Dear Full Tonne Kidd,


You may or may not know that we are currently working on our second album.


We are offering one lucky winner something that money can’t buy.


We want to write you a song, a song that is for you and only for you.

To enter, tell us your story, it can be happy, sad, scary, or joyful.

It can be for you or for someone you love (or Hate). It can be about something as specific as a bad day at work or as general as looking forward to a holiday.

We promise from the bottom of our hearts that we will treat your tale with the care it deserves.

The prize will be a finished song by Full Tonne Kidd that will be included on our second album and dedicated to you.

We will also perform an intimate set at the venue of your choice and perform the song that you inspired.

You can choose the venue! It can be your living room or your local boozer.

 

How to enter.

Simply tell us your story, in your own words and from the heart.

Don’t think about it too much, just think, feel & write.

Don’t worry about words rhyming or anything like that, we’ll take care of that.

We just want to hear your passion come through.

It doesn’t have to be a short novel, as long as it needs to be to say what you need to say.

We will announce the winner on Friday 28th February.
